"Not as advertised"

The apartment was very clean and having a washing machine is convenient.

We booked this property for our family of 4 due to the idyllic quiet location, pictured gardens and play equipment. On arrival we were informed that construction was being done on the property to build new apartments and therefore the gardens were not available to use. At 0730 each morning loud drilling, banging and other noises started and continued all day. When we mentioned to the manager that this was very disruptive and that we should have been told before arrival and given the option to cancel and book elsewhere, she was dismissive and defensive. No apology, just “well I told you at check in”. Management isn’t even on site until mid morning, so minimise impact on guests. Other than the construction noise, as previous reviews mention, the walls are extremely thin and you can hear every noise from other guests - walking across the floor, opening doors and cupboards, even normal conversation! So even when the construction finished for the day it unfortunately wasn’t the peaceful stay we had imagined at all. We could not recommend this accommodation.
