Beautiful Apartment in Bratislava Old Town with AC

The location was very good, walking distance to the city center (please note that the time mentioned on the pictures is not true:), great value for the price. There is also an iron in the apartment, which is really nice.

It was extremely cold in the apartment, like really really cold, it got better thanks to conditioner, but note that there is no heating in the bathroom, so you have to go out in the winter anyway. The shower was clogged, therefore it was very difficult to wash normally, as it takes time for the water to get heated, the water doesn't flow away, so you end up standing in the cold water. I think its more than ok to stay there when it gets warm.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. I can tell they are really trying Room was comfortable and warm. Washing machine, clothes dryer, full length mirror. Aesthetic and clean. There was an error in my original booking where it was starting/ending several days early. It was nonrefundable and I was really worried, but the manager changed the dates for me. That was seriously appreciated.

The fridge did not keep food at a safe temperature. The managers replaced the fridge but the new fridge had similar problems. I had to throw out some meat etc and then keep perishables on the windowsill between panes. There is almost no storage space. In the bedroom/bathroom/kitchen there is no nightstand, no dresser, no drawers, and no empty shelves, with the exception of one closet. That one closet has one small clothes rod and one empty shelf. The rest of it is filled with an enormous amount of cleaning supplies, bedding, etc. If a few shelves (even four) had been left empty it could have made up for the lack of storage space in the rest of the apartment, but it was filled with far more supplies than that one room could need. This might work for backpackers who just have a couple of jeans and t-shirts, and who are mostly eating out, but not ideal for a business trip where one needs to keep organized even minimal work clothing, under garments, makeup, jewelry, shoes, a few groceries, etc. If the closet had been freed up this would not have been a problem. Before I booked, I saw the closet in the photos and did not realize it was full of stuff. (The manager did give me the code to unlock part of it and I was able to clear one shelf for clothing storage).

This was an " OK" apartment and has the basics. Manageable for 1 or 2 nights but not great for longer periods I felt. The location is good if you can manage the negative aspects.

A Small, compact and old traditional Apartment. a tiny fridge on the floor under a counter with the microwave on top. No bedside cabinet or shelf so nowhere to put your phone/drink etc. It is really quite noisy and the owners are aware of this as they leave you ear plugs. Very hot and when I asked for the fan to be brought out of the high closet, the owner got a bit stroppy though did do it. maybe that was just the language barrier. would I stay again ? No.

Convenient location, all attractions within walking distance. the apartment is compact, with everything you need

For a couple, another armchair would be useful

Very clean, well located for attractions. Everything you needed for a short stay was in the apartment.

Only thing is 2 armchairs would have been good. Something to hold shower up would also be good.

Everything was great and we would like to come back to Bratislava!
