Romantic Central Flat

The flat was ideal for a short stay in Bratislava, about 10 minutes walk from the old town, and close to supermarkets for basic food provision and at least two excellent and reasonably priced restaurants. The landlord, although living in a different country, was extremely helpful and communicative from the time of our booking onwards, supplied details of how to collect the keys a long time in advance of our arrival, including the provision of a helpful video about arrival and key collection, and responded immediately to our questions both before arrival and during our stay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. In the case of a couple of minor nuisances - lack of a bread knife, and lack of a supply of coffee pods for the coffee machine evidently caused by the failure of the cleaner - the landlord even offered a monetary refund for which we saw no reason to trouble him. We would certainly return to this flat if we had another occasion to visit Bratislava.

Strategic position with all the main attractions some minutes by walking. No need for public transportation and it has been easy going and coming from the train station. The host was very kind and responsive.

The cleanliness of the room can be improved and the building is quite old and badly maintained, so do not expect something different.
