Apartment Banska - City Centre & Private Parking

It was very clean with very good location

- Location - quiet area, close to city centre - Designated parking place - Apartment is modern, comfortable with all amenities needed (including coffee machine, cooking utensils etc.) - Very clean and well maintained - Good contact with host

- Small washbasin in bathroom - it was difficult to use it without splashing yourself

Our stay in this apartment was a disappointment for several reasons.

First, the sound insulation is very poor—the bedroom wall seems to be connected to the neighbor's bathroom, so we were woken up in the middle of the night by the loud sound of the toilet flushing. The apartment's elevator is directly outside the door, and it starts making loud noises from 6 AM. Additionally, construction work outside begins at 7 AM, further disrupting any chance of a peaceful sleep. The apartment has poor ventilation, which seems to be completely non-functional. This resulted in an unpleasant odor in the air, and the rooms were very hot as there was no air conditioning. The sofa was too hard for adults to sleep on comfortably, and the bedding looked old, worn out, and rough. The apartment's furnishings were also outdated—the bathroom was worn out, and the water pressure was so weak that it was impossible to take a proper shower. We faced additional inconvenience when we were informed, after making the reservation, that due to technical issues, we wouldn't be able to access the apartment on time. Additionally, there was no TV in the apartment—the host said it was broken but offered to bring another one if she could find someone to help carry it, but we just wanted to rest and to wait for additional organisations. Furthermore, the host lives in a neighboring apartment, and her behavior made us feel like we were renting from an old-fashioned "Palanga aunt." Communication was conducted via personal phone rather than through the Booking platform, which was inconvenient. Although there is a parking space, it is three apartment blocks away, which poses additional challenges, especially if you have a lot of luggage or are traveling with small children.
