Paul's palace - absolute center!

Excellent central location in the Old Town in a nice building.

The facilities were not cleaned - the wet towels from the previous residents were still on the bathroom floor and hanged on closet doors; the beds were not made and we had to dress the beds on our own also there weren't any clean pillow cases so we had to improvise and use bedsheets to cover the pillows; trash cans weren't disposed of as well. The double bed is located on a amateurly built platform above the single bed, unstable and creaky, could be dangerous. Not every light worked either to broken lightswitches or depleted light bulbs.

This would have been a brilliant place. Perfect location. Easy to find. Good communication. Spacious apartment. BUT…

When we arrived, someone else had been first. The bed had been slept in, the bathroom had used towels on the floor and tissues in the bin and toilet, glasses on the side…yuk! We did report this, and did get relocated, but had to do this ourselves, and it was to an apartment further out of the Old Town which is €20 cheaper, yet we got no refund for the difference? Pretty disappointing really. Be careful where you book

Excellent location and facilities! It was an amazing choice the money. Everything is well decorated and clean, and I will totally come back to this place again if I'm in Slovakia again! Highly recommended!

Dryer is broken, and the pillow is a bit flat and uncomfortable for the bed on top.

Exceptional location in the old town and a very nice accommodation overall. There was plenty of room and the apartment was very clean, bathroom was super nice.

The bed is upstairs in a loft. Not convenient for older people. This was not mentioned when I did the booking.

Amazing central location - you cant beat it. In the middle of the action in Old Town, a couple mins away from the main Christmas market. In a very cute historic building. Instructions to get in easy to follow.

We kept running out of hot water in the evenings which was frustrating when you wanted a hot shower after being in the cold all day. The light switches in the loft also didn’t work so when going to bed you had to commit to it rather than lie in bed and read or similar which we like to after a day walking around. As others have noted no hand towel in bathroom and kitchen, and no hand wash for shower just an empty bottle of shampoo. These are just small things that were annoying but not the be all and end all so long as you’re prepared for short showers, bring your own body wash etc it’s fine. And like I said before the location is really amazing and overall we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is in an excellent location & was very clean. The check-in instructions were very clear. Rather than use the stairs as suggested, use the elevator.

There was not the promised tea/ coffee maker. The toiletries consisted of 3 almost empty shampoo bottles, no body wash and very little hand soap in the bathroom. There were no dishwasher tablets or tea towels.
