Day Off House Chiang Mai Near Walking Street

Cozy and clean rooms. Perfectly located outside of the busy center (which you can reach in 5 min by car or scooter). The host is very nice and helpful, we were allowed to leave our bags while traveling trough the north on the bike.

The property was in a great location. 20 minute walk to a great market and temples.

That we didn’t get to stay here longer.

The hosts are very kind and welcoming, always ready to help and make you feel even more comfortable. They have recommendations for everything you might need in Chiang Mai, just ask them. Very friendly :) They even drove me to an appointment when I had problems with my back which I really appreciated.

I loved everything about Day Off House! The containers are cute, clean and very well thought out. I live in hotels because of my work so I appreciate when the little things have been done to make the stay better. The shower was lovely and hot, the room cool at night so didn’t need AC and the bed was really comfortable. The location was peaceful but not far from the old town. I didn’t want to stay in the action and loved that this is a proper neighbourhood with locals living their lives. It’s incredible value too! Pak-Boong and Meow are wonderful people who were always helpful and great to chat to. Pak-Boong took me for coffee and Meow made my favourite breakfast for me one morning! The words above and beyond come to mind, very kind people. I liked it so much that I’m returning to stay in a few days. Thanks for everything Day Off House!

The place is immaculate and super creative, with a nice public area and garden for guests. It's perfect for travelers and those who work on the go. Most of all there's an amazing family feel as I met the owner and the family who are warm and welcoming. It's close to going home.

Friendly owners, good idea (containers that serve as rooms), very simple and modern

There is a shared kitchen outside and we had bad luck with some of the other guests who were loud and partying there until 1:30 AM. Furthermore, the bed was super uncomfortable (old iron springs bed that was covered with extra layer of padding but this was unfortunately full of molds as shown on the picture). The container does not isolate a lot so you can see some insects coming in.

Had a wonderful stay! This has become my favorite place in CM and I´ve stayed in many over the last 8 years! Cozy containers with comfy beds, A/C, desk and everything very clean. Super fast WiFi through the place, perfect for Digital Nomads working remotely. Very welcoming atmosphere, common kitchen had free coffee / tea, cheap drinks available to buy from the fridge and was a great place to meet other travelers. The Host Sirisakul and her mum were the best, always so sweet and caring to all guests! Free bicycles available and Sirisakul also arranged good deals for scooter rentals. One night she even invited all guests to join her for dinner with her Thai friends which was such a nice, authentic experience! Location is very peaceful and convenient, being 5 min walk to local restaurants / cafes. Easy to reach many points of interest by Bolt in 10 min or less: Wua Lai Walking Street (5 min), Night Bazaar (7 min), Tha Phae Gate (10 min), Nimman (10 min) and Airport (10 min). I´ll be always welcome to come back :)

Simple room yet cosy and comfortable. Ridiculously good for the cheap price I must say. Room was well-furnished, bed was comfortable, shower was good. It had everything I needed and host was helpful and very friendly. Would definitely come back to stay for a trip to Chiang Mai again.
