Sunset Sea View Apartment

Een ruim en mooi ingericht appartement met alle voorzieningen. Maar het beste van alles: een heerlijk zwembad met een fantastisch uitzicht! We missen die zonsondergangen nog steeds...

Een auto huren is toch echt een aanrader. Het appartement is bovenaan een steile helling gelegen, een 's avonds is het toch wat donker.

On the positive side, the house itself is spacious and offers truly spectacular views. Fortunately, it has a jacuzzi and access to a shared pool, which was essential since the sea was full of box jellyfish (apparently common in August on this island). Because of that, swimming in the ocean was not possible. In fact, the week before our stay, a 22-year-old woman tragically passed away after being stung by one.

To get to the apartment, you have to climb a very steep hill that feels endless. When we arrived, half of the things didn’t work: the closet doors were jammed, some kitchen cabinets were broken, you had to enter the house without shoes, and there were pieces of broken glass on the floor—my son even cut his toe. The upstairs bathroom door wouldn’t close, the glasses in the kitchen were dirty, and the en-suite bathroom was full of ants, among other issues. Be careful with the electricity charges: it’s billed separately, and although the contract states 6 THB per kW, we were charged 12 THB. The host had an explanation, but if that’s the case, they should clearly state 12 THB in the listing, not 6 THB. Overall, we cannot recommend this apartment. There are far better options in the area.

Der Ausblick und die schöne Einrichtung. Sehr gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Es war schön dir Flugzeuge zu sehen. Gemütliche Betten und sehr ruhig. Sehr gute Raumaufteilung. Eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden.

Was man eventuell wissen sollte, die Terrasse ist frei zugänglich, es kommt vor das auch andere die Terrasse nutzen.

Nice location, lovely view, apartament was very clean as well.
