Apartmaji Pekovec Bohinj

Everything except the water was in order, the apartment was spacious, there were all the necessary utensils and a dishwasher. But we were not warned that the water was not drinkable, that bottled water should be brought. The water smells unpleasant even after boiling. The nature is beautiful, the location is great, the lake is 7 minutes away by car and about 50 minutes on foot.

This was our second stay in this property so it says enough. Nice, authentic, quiet environment. Pleasant hosts ready to help with the advice. We had small Christmas tree in the apartment which was nice. Late check out was possible. We would be back anytime.

Check-in didn't go as planned because the airline lost our bags and therefore we were later than expected. Fortunately, Roman was very accommodating and flexible. And his mother was at the house when our bags arrived. Roman also provided a map of the area, and was able to provide some information on things to do and even where to get fresh bread. The entire apartment was big and spacious. More than enough for the two of us. It was clean and well equipped for our three-night stay. The location is a little out of the way but nice and quiet and still easy to find/access.

The only downside was the wifi, which was a little iffy. Though it might have been because of the terrible weather we had during our stay.

Taking care of guests

WiFi connection was very bad.

We were met by Roman, the owner of The property, to let us in. He made sure we were comfortable and spent time with helping us plan some hikes and telling us about the bike trail walk into town. It was so nice to have that personal touch. The walk into Bohinj was beautiful and so peaceful. We loved the little town, full of adventure, laid back and not as touristy as Bled.

The apartment is located in a quiet, picturesque area, very close to Lake Bohinji. A good base for trips to Bled. Good facilities, very nice hosts. We felt really good there. We recommend.

Beautiful location, modern apartment and facilities. Excellent view from the balcony. Very friendly host, great hospitality.

Only feedback is would be nice to have blackout blinds in the bedrooms as gets very bright.

Nice place in a quite area, host super friendly and kind. Communication was also very easy. Aparment was clean and bright, with everything what you need for 2-3 days.
