Z&N luxury Belgrade appartment - city center

It was a wonderful experience. Apartment is located in the building 100 years old and most of the buildings in the center of Belgrade is like that. Location is perfect and everething you need is around Nenad is so good host and ready to meet all your needs. Only what I can say for appartment “Highly recommended “

The apartment is spacious, very comfortable, and offers everything one could reasonably expect for a pleasant stay.

When it comes to cleanliness, I have serious reservations. On two occasions, I found long hairs left behind by previous guests. More concerningly, lifting the toilet seat revealed that the underside had clearly not been cleaned for quite some time. To make matters worse, the toilet seat itself was loose and not properly secured. Housekeeping standards are simply not up to the level one would expect. A more unusual issue concerns the lift. It is very old, and if you arrive with a large suitcase, you may encounter an unpleasant surprise. Only after reaching the apartment floor do you realise that the lift door should not be opened beyond 90 degrees. Also, someone had not closed the door properly on a floor, making the lift unusable. As a result, when I arrived, I had to carry a 12 kg backpack and a 22 kg suitcase up to the 4th floor. Another concern was the owner's approach to collecting payment. When our schedules did not match, I was offered the option of allowing the owner to enter the apartment in my absence and collect the money. This is not acceptable from a privacy and security perspective. An alternative solution was eventually found. The final disappointment came the evening before check-out, when I was informed that there would be no water between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm due to maintenance work in the building. This meant no access to water in the kitchen, bathroom, or toilet. Instead of enjoying a relaxed morning before my flight, I had to get up early to shower and prepare. Unfortunately, the water was cut off at around 8:40 am while I was covered in soap under the shower. Fortunately, I had a large bottle of mineral water available to rinse off. Given these various issues, I would have expected at least a partial refund or goodwill gesture. Instead, I was offered a discount on a future stay. In other words, I was expected to pay the full price despite the shortcomings and only receive compensation on a future visit. There will not be a future stay.
