If you have a car, this is a great base for hiking and exploring this beautiful part of the country. The farm is beautiful and peaceful. The accommodations are rustic, just as you'd expect on a real working farm. We saw very little of the staff, who are busy with the farm, but we had everything we needed. The common area is very large and unique, with comfy chairs, books, a pool table, dining tables/kitchen, extra washrooms. Outside space to eat as well. This farm breeds horses and when we were there in May they had a new foal in the barn and others in the field. Friendly dogs.

For upstairs rooms with shared bathroom, note that the bathrooms are downstairs off the kitchen. Not a problem, just a bit far and through common space. Basic but comfortable rooms.

DON‘T GO TO THAT PLACE! My friend and me went here and it was a horrible experience. The owner of the place was just plain rude from the beginning. When we arrived he let us wait in the rain and said he didn’t have time to show us the room. He was getting angry cause we didn’t announce that we would come with our dog even tho on their booking side it says that dogs are allowed, without having to make a request first. THE WORST SITUATION WAS WE HE HITTED!!!!! my dog just because he was sitting on the couch. He didn’t tell my dog to get off the couch, he just started hitting him. Of course an argument started and he got really close to us and we were afraid that he would hit us too. He cursed at us and talked bad about us to the other guests. He ended up throwing us out of his place in the middle of the night. Even tho we wanted to leave ourselfs after this incident anyway, we had a hard time finding a new place and it was raining really bad. We are shocked that a person like him can rent his place to people. As two female travellers we felt really unsafe there and wouldn’t suggest anyone to go there - especially not with a dog! The owner doesn’t seem to have any manners or any sort of respect for his guests. HE SAID HE CAN DO ANYTHING HE WANT TO US AND OUR DOG BECAUSE IT'S HIS HOME!!!! I WAS SCARED FOR MY LIFE FOR REAL!!!!!

Cosy farm , pet friendly.I felt like in a real countryside vacation.You can admire horses,smell true fresh air.
