Gothic House

Simple, pleasant, clean room & en suite bathroom. Access to a small communal kitchenette with fridge, kettle & microwave. Didn’t have to eat out necessarily. Appreciated the air conditioning whilst Sibiu baked in a heat wave.

I was looking for a cozy, quiet, clean and central place to stay (with air condition and free parking) and I found it! 100% recommended!

I liked the fact that the apartment was well equipped with all sorts of things that you need for a short stay (microwave, fridge, cutlery, even scissors, shower stuff, coffee, coffee pot, etc.) which really made the whole experience easy. The checkin was very convenient and the host was very friendly, helpful and prompt (via phone / chat). The location is top as well as you could literally walk just a bit and you are in the main square. The main dormitory lighting was a good compensation for the natural darkness of the apartment. The decorations are very cool and really make you feel in a "gothic" setting.

The bathroom is built a bit in a strange way with a funny step after the door. In the night I forgot there is this step and dropped on the edge and injured my foot. The lights from the router/wifi were annoying in the night. While the main dormitory was very well lit with electric lights, the kitchen light was a bit too white/blue for my taste, felt like a hospital a bit.
