Everything was well-organized, nice place, perfect central location, nice host.

The elevator is a downside since it’s an old elevator with manual doors closing and only fits 3 people.

The location was right in the Old City... super close to sites and restaurants.

Host was very friendly and let us check in early (12pm) - showed us how to use everything in the apartment and let us know we could contact her if there were any problems

We were only staying in Bratislava one night so couldn't stay longer ! we would love to have stayed longer

This spacious apartment was perfect for our stay. It included two full bedrooms, a full kitchen, a smaller living room, two bathrooms, and a separate shower. The location couldn't be better – right above the McDonald's in the old town, making it incredibly easy to find. The owner, a lovely woman, met us with the keys, receipt, and a quick tutorial on the apartment's amenities, including the small elevator (maximum two people, or one with luggage). We appreciated the strong shower pressure, the toasty radiators, and the TV with English-language channels. Plenty of outlets made charging devices a breeze, and the mechanical window blinds were a convenient touch. Despite being in the old town, the apartment was surprisingly quiet at night, thanks to its proximity to the opera theater and the large walkway leading to the riverside.

While the apartment itself was perfect and the owner was wonderfully helpful, we did encounter a couple of minor issues with the building. The stairwell lights were on a timer that frequently shut off mid-climb, requiring us to develop a strategy for keeping them illuminated. While there are switches on each floor, they don't reset the timer, so the lights often went out even after pressing them. The main gate outside also presented a challenge. The lock was a bit tricky, requiring a simultaneous twist and push. A few pinched fingers later, we finally mastered the technique.
