Great welcome by our host who explained a little bit about the story of the building and surroundings. Fantastic location and super comfortable bedrooms.

I would suggest to have some milk for a coffee or tea, but apart from from that, nothing negative at all

I recently stayed at Apartman Maximilian in Bratislava from June 11th to June 12th, and it was by far the worst accommodation experience I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the apartment was in a deplorable state. The entire place was dirty and smelled awful. The bathroom had mold in the shower, and the bedsheets were overused, smelled of sweat, and had not been properly washed. There was even someone else's hair on the pillows, which was extremely unhygienic and disgusting. The kitchenware was old, dirty, and the kettle was filled with water stone. Additionally, the apartment had excessive furniture, including 12 beds, making it look more like a dormitory for construction workers than a place for guests. This overcrowding added to the unpleasant atmosphere. We were traveling with a small baby, and the unsanitary conditions made our stay extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. After spending just one night, we had no choice but to check out early and find a nearby hotel to stay in. Despite bringing these issues to the attention of the property owners, they refused to acknowledge the problems and claimed the apartment was clean, referencing good reviews from other guests. However, our experience was completely contrary to their claims. I strongly urge Booking.com to review this listing and ensure no future guests have to endure such a terrible experience. I have requested a refund for one night which we booked but did not stay as we checked out as early morning as we woke up, of 76 EUR but the owner just keeps all our money and laughs on our complaint. Booking.com does not care. We are now forced to go to authorities to claim our money back from Booking.com This experience has been a huge disappointment, especially as a frequent user and Genius level 3 member on Booking.com. I hope this review helps other potential guests avoid the same dreadful experience.

The apartment was fantastic , lots of space and the location was perfect. It had everything we needed and more . Hosts were kind and knowledgeable about the city and the building . Very helpful indeed :-)

Great location for old town but Ubers came in handy for other locations e.g train station to get to Vienna.

Trams and cars seem to be coming at you from every direction be careful.oh and it was full of Welsh people.😁 Only joking they made a great atmosphere

The host gave us a little history lesson about the building and the artwork inside. Building is just outside the old town with easy access by foot and also close to a main road for easy travel by car. Host helped with the (paid) on street parking around back of the apartment and gave us an excellent, authentic restaurant recommendation.

Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, pet friendly. Owner gave us a short history of the apartment.

There is no possibility of free of charge parking due to the central location. There is an underground parking close by with a fee of 21€/day. Another option would be on the street, if you find, with 2€/hour. The noise of the street is quite strong. We weren't able to sleep with the windows open on that side of the apartment.
