Jardin Marron

spacious apartment with a beautiful graden in a quiet and remote part of the island. the hosts were very friendly and actively offered advice about activities and their organization, beaches, etc. there is a beach just in front of the property, which is an extraordinary spot for snorkeling (you have to discover the nice spots, but you can find some colorful corals, reef fish, we also saw turtles and lion fish), though the beach itself is rather small. There is also a little supermarket closeby, but we definitely recommend a rental car, as there are no other food options nearby (you'd have to walk to anse lazio for about 30 minutes, or catch a bus, but the schedule is a bit limited) we mostly drove to cote d'or for restaurants or take aways.

The garden and surroundings are magical, and the ocean view room offers a wonderful panoramic view. The welcome was very warm, with recommendations for dining out, and we were greeted with welcome coconuts upon our arrival. The apartment is spacious, but the AC only cools down the bedroom, so the kitchen-living room area can get quite hot. Our stay here was very relaxing, the environment was perfect and we received help from the host whenever we needed. Anse Lazio is easily reachable by car in 5 minutes (rental car is recommended for the entire stay).

We had a brilliant stay at Jardin Marron and enjoyed our apartment. Loved the views every morning and found everything we needed. There is a supermarket about 5 mins walk to get more bits if needed. We walked to Anse lazio everyday (although up hill). There is also a bus station outside on the main road.

- more coffee pods as I think we only had 4 for the 4 days (2 people) - wish there were more restaurants: takeaways nearby but obviously not the hose fault :)

Great and super friendly host. Didi was always helpful and very attentive. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. It’s also well designed. Fantastic price for what you get.

Some things are a little outdated which wasn’t a problem and is very understandable given Didi just took over before Covid. She also told us that they are currently updating things one by another. So it might look different with every guest now.

Everything is PERFECT!! It is absolutely a dream room. Huge, clean and beautiful! We got a welcome coconut and the host speaks really good english and gave us useful advices and organized our trip to Curieuse at a real good price.

Praslin is beautiful island with very kind and helpfull people. Didi (owner of this accomodation) is definetly one of them. She give to us fresh coconuts when we came and another fruit from her garden (passion fruit is really amazing, thank you Didi :). House is app. 20 minutes by walk from Anse Lazio which is most beautifull beach in the Praslin. Nature around is also wonderful and we always feel save and comfortable everywhere and everytime. Wish you all best :)
