Very good location - not central location, but that is even plus. Everything you need is within a short walk - train station "Pod Lesom" and grocery shop (~10-15 min. walking), restaurant Koliba Tatry with traditional Slovakian cuisine and pizzeria (~10 min. walking) and close to supermarkets in Poprad (~ 10 min. driving). The host was very kind and communication was easy. The apartments were clean, provided with all the basics, including hand soap, dish soap, and even clothes pegs. 2 towels provided for each guest. But what we liked most was the fantastic view out the window - the changing mountain landscape, which you can watch from the window or from the balcony.

The only thing that could be added is a laundry machine.

Het appartement was super compleet en schoon. De prijs/kwaliteitverhouding maakte dat we het boven verwachting hebben ervaren. Zeer behulpzame en vriendelijke hosts. Dikke 10. 👍🏻

Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, good location for accessing the trailheads and nearby towns. Best to have a car since Starý Smokovec is about 6 km away. Good size apartment easily accommodated 3 adults. In a very quiet setting. The view of the mountains from the living room/kitchen is amazing. This view mostly makes up for the lack of charm in this simple apartment.

The lighting is very harsh. A floor lamp near the sofa would be good for reading and adding some warm ambiance to the room. The bedroom with 2 single beds has a good black-out shade on the sky light. The room with the double bed needs a black-out shade on the window due to lots of light coming in. These small improvements would make this apartment a 10!
