The Hideout

I stayed in this apartment for about a month. And it met my expectations. It's located near the bus station and train station. I got there with a combination of a plane, a bus, a train and a taxi. And I would have never taken a taxi if I hadn't had two large 20 kg carry-on luggages occupying both my hands, because the apartment was just around 650 mt from the train station, I could just walk there if I knew the way to the apartment then. If only I had a third hand that could hold the phone for google maps navigation while I was pulling the luggages along... The host was friendly, helpful and devoted. He was quite a communicative person with a good command of English. He seemed to be quite attentive, especially when it comes to answering to messages and calls. He even answered to my call at around 2 am when I arrived in Jana Milca from a country around 2500 km away. And I was so tired that I couldn't find the entrance to the garage and he navigated me on the phone so I could easily get the keys from the self check-in box. The flat included a booklet with some rules and hints, it was also like a tourist guidebook for Žilina. Not to mention that a remote for garage gate was available on the table as well. Pretty much everything was thought about. It took me some time to find out some secret cabinets that store some things which at first I thought weren't available coz I'm not the kind of person who likes to ask everything to the host so I had no idea there were more things until the end of the first 10 days. Anyway, I really enjoyed my stay here. Hypermarkets, supermarkets, restaurants, shops, barbers, some tech store, some gas station and pretty much everything was within 400-900 mt. walking distance. I didn't even felt a need to drive a car. I hardly ever got lost since I had mobile data and Google Maps on. Always had a local that walked me through in few cases that I lost my way.

Quite close to the trainstation and to city centre. Quiet area. Room is small but complete

I could not figure out how to switch the shower to use the top part. Not sure how fresh the items in the fridge were

everything is good. nice apartment.

Small and cosy apartment. Old town is near from apartment.

There are no conditioner and apartment temperature is high.
