I live in Subotica, but due to renovations I needed to rent for a few weeks. This is one of the most authentic apartments I've ever stayed in - Ben is a wonderful host who has kept the spirit of communist Yugoslavia alive in the smallest details of his apartment! I say this in a positive way as I am a fan of retro design myself. The apartment was also exceptionally clean and has everything you need for both short and long stays. My exceptional recommendation. Ben is a very cool dude

Ben’s apartment is so cute and full of character! We had everything we needed for cooking, an oven and cooktop, pots and pans, even coffee. There is a washer in the unit which was really nice and even English TV haha. The building itself is really cool and very safe. Ben was an amazing host, he picked us up from the bus station, gave us a driving tour of Subotica, told us about the history, and even took us to Lake Palic during our stay! I would recommend Suflat to anyone wanting to visit Subotica.

Excellent location in a lovely town. The Flat has absolutely everything you need for a stay and is very homely. The host is incredibly helpful. With prearranging he is more than willing to spend a few hours showing the sights, local culnary and very helpful tips if it is your first time in this beautiful country. If you are in Subotica as your first stop in Serbia then spending a couple of days in this Flat with this host is an excellent way to start. Highly highly recommended.
