Easy to walk from the property into Ljubljana.

I thought I was booking Apartment Golovec, and staying in the building pictured on the website. There were lots of photographs of rooms on the website, and it turns out that there are several apartments, none of which are listed individually so it was very misleading. The one we were allocated had a different name, and was in a building on the side of the main one, with a sloping roof. It was cramped, the bedroom had a double bed in it but the room was so small and against three walls so that I had to climb over my husband to get in and out of bed. There were no bedside tables, and the hanging space was minimal. It wasn’t very private as there was a pathway that ran alongside the windows of the living room. The shower was small, difficult for my husband who is 6ft 2in. We were thankfully only there for three nights.

Super friendly Host, beautiful location, great shower and bathroom, well equipped, large tv with Netflix and YouTube, 2mins from nature trail/ woods. Very kind host who provided breakfast items in the fridge and chocolates on arrival. We enjoyed eating our dinner on the outside seating looking over the city. There was a sweet little dog who came to see us called Kimmy. Free parking. Local tourist tax is €2.50 per person, per night, you will need this in cash by the time you leave.

The light bulb over the sofa hangs too low and we repeatedly hit our heads getting up we think this needs replacing. The room doorways have a little ridge/ step that we kept stubbing our toes on (I’m sure this can’t be fixed).. The bedding needs replacing in our opinion.

Clean, spacious for 3 adults. Conveniently located. Fridge was stocked with some goodies. Nice outdoor seating area with a view of the city. Kara was very helpful, communicated promptly and even let us check out a little late.

There are quite a few stairs (about 50) to get down to the town level. The stairs were easy and well lit, and going into the town area was fine. Coming back we opted for a taxi, as not all of our group felt they could tackle the stairs. That said, the taxi ride was about €4, so not really that bad.

Very clean and light apartment, functionally decorated. Vesna and Kaja are very nice hosts. Vesna even helped me carry my suitcase up the stairs. The goodies in the fridge were much appreciated, as was the washing machine. Warmly recommended!

When the windows are open, there's some noise from traffic.

Very nice owners, provided everything necessary to make our stay comfortable. Good location - really just 10 min by foot to the Old town. The apartment has everything you need for a family stay.

The design of the apartment is a little outdated, it seems to be renovated quite a while ago. But it didn't disturb us, and it has all necessary facilities.

Quiet and clean. 10 min walk to Ljubljana Old Town
