It was also very clean and offered good comfort. The host changed the sheets every four days or so and also left clean towels. We were always notified when she was coming in advance. The location was good--right next to the Arcadia Mall with a large grocery store and many other shops one might need, and under 10 minutes to the Cosmo MultiMall with another large grocery store and other shops with things that one might need. It was right next to Industrialna Tram stop and 10 minutes walk to the Metro. It is also a short walk to Very Well Cafe which has great meals at reasonable prices. The Marshrutka and city bus stop nearby as well. (This is not going to be the best location if you are in Kyiv as a tourist as it's quite a distance from all of the big tourist attractions in the city.) It is very close to a tunnel for protection from missiles and Shaheds. The host provided two sets of keys which was fantastic as my husband an I often had different schedules and places to be. The WiFi signal was steady and reasonably fast. The unit was very, very quiet. The host spoke good English and had great communication.

The washing machine is not in the unit, although directly adjacent. There WAS a tumble dryer, which was nice. There is no oven in the apartment, (These were both known in advance.) The building is very secure, but it makes it challenging for food delivery, you have to go downstairs to meet the driver. It would be nice to ahve an intercom system to buzz them in on arrival. The hill coming up from the street is quite steep, although I was aware of that before we booked it and much of Kyiv has hills. If you have mobility issues, this might not be the place for you unless you will have a vehicle or will rely on Uber/Bolt/Taxi. There was only one AC unit which was in the living room, and the bedroom could get stuffy at night. Fortunately I had my small travel fan to move the air around.
