Pelican Beach Resort Rentals

The room was very nice, clean and well stocked with anything we needed.

The beach was extremely strict on where you could sit and relax or even just to throw a frisbee. This made it very hard to enjoy the beach close the our condo, so much so when ended up driving to a whole different part of the beach just to relax.

The condo was perfect! (905). Beautifully decorated and kitchen had everything you could want if cooking. Great location oceanfront.

We were staying at the end of January. Therefore we chose a property with heated pools/hot tubs. Pelican Beach had both. However, the outdoor pools (2) were never heated (broken heaters) and the hot tub was only heated one day during our weekend visit. The indoor pool was heated. None of this was disclosed when we booked the stay.

Check in time at 5pm was too late. Usual check in is 3pm. Tried checking in early, there was no flexibility

Traveling out of season provided great value. The room was roomy, clean, and in the perfect location. The full kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils that made preparing meals in the room convenient.

I understand that work need to be done to maintain older facilities. However, there was little to no effort from the staff to reduce the impact of the work. They did not create any efficient routes to navigate around the work, especially for loading and unloading.
