Excellent location between the Ploshcha Ukrainskykh Heroiv metro station and Bessarabska Market. Stunning view of Arena City and Khreshchatyk. The apartment is spacious and has two bathrooms. The style is unique and unconventional. It is quiet inside the apartment. There are two TVs: one with internet access, and the other, while not connected to the internet, supports screen mirroring. The mattress is very comfortable—I slept perfectly. The pillows are also comfortable, which is very important. The host, Olena, is attentive to guests.

The price you see on Booking is not final. As soon as you book the room, the host sends you a message stating that you need to pay an additional 400 UAH (this was not mentioned on the website). However, I decided to agree to it anyway, as I liked the location and the photos, and I was looking for an apartment with a sauna, which became the deciding factor. When checking in, I couldn’t reach host number 1 – Olena, so I contacted host number 2 – Maksym. Olena communicates more professionally and in a friendlier manner. I turned on the sauna strictly according to the video instructions they sent me, which stated that the steam room would be ready 30 minutes after turning it on. However, two hours later, I entered a cool room with weak heating. This was the biggest drawback. I booked an apartment with a sauna, but I couldn’t use it. There was a noticeable amount of dust on the floor and tables. The bathroom walls had white stains, and the toilet had visible marks, suggesting that cleaning could be improved. There were also some stains on the couch, which had an unusual smell, and some red droplets of something near the table in the living room.

The location is great. And you’ll be provided with a powerful flashlight to deal with possible power outages, which is great! Just keep in mind that you won’t be able to flush your toilet if electricity goes off (#russiaisaterroriststate)

As soon as you make a reservation, you get a notification that the actual cost will be +400UAH higher per stay than stated initially. This is said to be the cleaning fee. And that’s wild because how come a room renting service is provided without the cleaning service in the first place? You know, that’s just a crazy hidden fee trickily omitted from the price you see on the website. Not cool. And unfortunately, I doubt the quality of this cleaning, too, since there were open shampoo packages and used soap in the shower (so was it truly cleaned?).
