"Irreponsible host."

Irresponsible host. The host did not answer any messages sent via booking.com. In the morning of the day of arrival I called to the host and kindly asked for a slightly earlier check-in (at 13:00). The host said that the apartment is busy and can be ready only by 14:00 and that she will meet me near the building in 10 min after my phone call. I said, ok no problem please let me know if something changes otherwise I will be there after 14:00. Being 4 min far from the apartment I called her asking to meet me. But (!!) she told me that she cannot rent me this apartment because something happened with canalisation in it and that she needs to cancel my reservation. To be honest, I was a bit shocked: 'Are you for real? Cancelled? Just 4 min before I'm? Hey, my wife with son will cross the border in an hour and need a rest, but apartment I've booked and walked by exact time is now cancelled and I was not informed before to make another reservation?!' On that, she said that she tried to call me many times but something happened and she couldn't reach me... strange, but ok, this might happen.... but come on... why not just send me a message via booking.com?! Definitely, this host is NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
