The community itself was nice, quiet, and well maintained. The location was convenient, close to Disney, and the apartment was reasonably clean.

I feel this was a clear bait-and-switch situation. Upon check-in, my family and I discovered that the apartment we were assigned did not match what was advertised or what we had specifically booked. We chose a unit that promised a private pool, a king bed in the master bedroom, and two queen beds in the second bedroom. However, we were placed in a unit with three twin beds and no private pool, which was a significant downgrade from what we expected. To make matters worse, there was a complete lack of communication and support. When we contacted the property and Booking.com, we were unable to speak with the host directly. The person who answered the phone at the property was very polite but, when I mentioned that I would dispute the charges with my bank if the issue wasn’t resolved, she suddenly claimed to be from the maintenance department. I asked why someone from maintenance was handling check-in and check-out issues, but I never received a clear answer. The property host who I was messaging with in booking.com tried to claim that I had booked the wrong unit, suggesting that I mistook the property I had actually reserved for another listing. To clarify, I showed them a different listing for the same community, Storey Lake, which looked IDENTICAL to the unit I had booked, including the private pool. However, they dismissed my concerns, insisting that I had made a mistake. I was confident that I had booked the correct property, and it felt frustrating to be told otherwise. The booking process involved a confirmation step where the property had to approve my reservation before it was finalized. This wasn’t just a matter of me randomly selecting a property and confirming it; I waited for confirmation emails from the property to ensure everything was correct. Yet, they continued to deny the discrepancy, and the issue was never properly addressed. Despite multiple attempts to follow up, they never returned our phone calls or addressed our concerns.
