North End Cottage

Size for one person

The bathroom was horrible, no hot water it was barely warm. The kitchen chairs were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was out dated dreary and dark, needs new nightstands nicer furnishings . I think it was overpriced. The pictures weren’t accurate. I was disappointed.

I loved the location and proximity to down town Idaho. All the facilities were great and easy to use. Attention to providing the little things like spices and sauces made my cooking so much nicer. I liked that It had a office table and chair with a good lamp so that I could plan my trip more easily. There was a lot of great information on the Boise and Garden City area provided and the rest I could explore. They were doing road works and new paving and had blocked off the street as it goes directly onto the main road. Access to the home wasn't affected though because you could turn one street earlier or later and just come in the back of the street. The road and paving workers were considerate and great.👍🏻

All homes with wooden floor boards creak, but as I am a night owl I was just concerned that I would disturb the people around me as I moved around.

Clean, well equipped, quiet, comfortable

Was a little pricey for a one night stay. Check-in was a bit late, and a checkout was early. Only had 19 hours at residence.

Location and coziness

Great Place for our employee to stay close to everything within walking distance to shops restaurants. Communication by Jill was fabulous.

There was no bath mat and no extra towels to use for a mat. When we asked for one we were told we get what is there.

Nothing. It's cute, but having to hear your downstairs neighbors cancels out anything positive.

I thought we had the whole place and didn't know we would have downstairs neighbors till the check-in email. It says to be mindful of your noise, but that's an understatement. You can hear everything your downstairs neighbors are doing and talking about. It's awful, so if you're looking for something quiet do not book here.

The location and neighborhood were nice and convenient.

The sleeping accommodations were falsely advertised. It said it slept 4 adults. There was a queen in the bedroom and a sofabed in the living room. The sofabed was not usable, as it had no mattress or topper on top of the box springs. There also were no sheets available for the sofabed at the house. The caretaker was willing to bring sheets, but there was no point as I told him the bed was not sleepable. I asked for a discount, but the owner was not willing to give one, saying he deemed the bed usable. I suggest he try sleeping on box springs and he might change his mind! We had to get a blow-up mattress to use during our stay there.
