Beach Studio by Shark's Cove

Perfect beach studio. Clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. Only a few steps from the beach with unforgettable sunsets. The host was friendly, welcoming, and super helpful. Great local vibe and convenient to a nearby store. Would absolutely stay again.

I am so happy we found our days available at this property. The hosts were there for any questions, location was amazing, and the bed was super comfortable for both my husband and I who have different mattress preferences. Hope to be able to visit again soon .

Nothing it was old and not well maintained.

The photos we reviewed did not reflect the reality of the property. The facilities seem to have disimproved dramatically since taken. We felt uncomfortable and didn’t want to stay in such conditions. Having to rebook somewhere else cost us significantly but didn’t want that to spoil our experience of Hawaii.

The location was great. Very lush and just a block from the ocean.

The lights in the bathroom didn't work and the overhead light above the sink barely worked. May need an LED compatible switch.

No ice

The location was great, the studio apt was great and very clean. It was small but just enough for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable and the shower worked great. We ran into the property owner and his family (they live in another unit on the property) a couple of times and he was also very nice, helpful, had good advice, and very handy. Don't want to cook while on vacation - no worries. between Ted's Bakery (which is more than just bakery items) a few minutes in one direction and a food truck court and supermarket a few minutes in the other, you won't go hungry. I would definitely go back.

There is nothing I didn't like... but there are some observations that I made that other people may find beneficial: 1. Parking can be tight if you have a big rental car/SUV. We rented a Hyundai Tuscon and that fit just right - but if you had something larger and you're not used to driving something larger, it could get tricky getting the vehicle in and out as you park under the house. 2. Hindsight is 20/20 - with being so close to the water, I didn't consider that I'd have to go up a flight of stairs to get to the apt. If you have trouble with stairs you may have to take that into consideration. 3. Couldn't figure out how to watch local TV - not a big deal...we watched very little TV, but once or twice we wanted to watch the local news and we couldn't figure it out. I ended up bringing up a local news stream on my laptop and connected it to the TV. To be fair, I didn't ask the property owner... I thought I could figure it out.
