Guesthouse Charleston EAST 46 H

Location was perfect - a little loud with street sounds, but there were white noise machines in each room. It was super easy to walk to restaurants/bars. Beds were also very comfortable and the unit was clean. Also, the hosts were very responsive and flexible. We were there for my son's wedding and they let us check in early and check out late, which we really appreciated.

Location was very convenient for many restaurants: Chubby Fish, The Ordinary, etc. There was a Publix not too far away, and a corner market in view from the apartment. The beds were very comfortable -- there were four of us and all commented on/appreciated the comfort of the beds. It was great to have off-street, assigned parking for the rental car. Kitchen was well supplied with nice appliances, all the essential tableware, and nice cookware (except a colander -which would have been nice for rinsing fruit -- but not a deal-breaker). Kerri stayed in contact via text, which was very convenient for coordinating and exchanging information.

There was a lot of street noise at night: partiers on the sidewalk, street sweeper, cars with bass thumping -- more than a white noise machine could cancel. But it's to be expected in the street-facing bedroom in an older frame house in a popular area. One of the upstairs bedroom's bath did not have a wall mirror (although there was space for one), only a shaving mirror on a wall-mounted arm. That was a bit of challenge for the woman staying in that room. There were a lot of stairs, which was not a problem for our group, but might be a problem for some people.

Facilities and ease of entire experience. Everything we needed was provided and in good order. It felt like hone from home.

Could have had more shower gel but that's about it.

noise on Sunday night/ Monday morning came from street cleaning crews. Also security alarm kept making a beep noise in mornings of Monday and Tuesday.

It was really nice and roomy.

Everything was great except we weren't expecting all the stairs. Our ages range from 64 - 85. And the street noise was bad at times especially for light sleepers. Note: the outside door was not closed when we arrived. It was open a few inches. The locking mechanism was a little difficult to figure out but we managed.

awesome place! very comfortable beds. kitchen well equipped. clean! The provided parking was wonderful!! Next time I plan to look at the downstairs units because I am traveling with elderly parents. The property is close to MUSC where I take my father for multiple doctor visits.

Took a long time for hot Water. Took room temp showers.
