Come Stay Where the Dolphins Play!

Close to the water and conveniently located

It’s an older unit, needs updating. Shower curtains, closet door didn’t work properly. The plug nearest to the window didn’t work. It was only one night so I’m not to picky about those things. I’m saying it mostly as a business owner myself, those are things I would address.

Location is nice and quiet. If that tree were not there, it would have been a phenomenal view.

I did not ask, and should have, if there was an elevator. There is not, so if you are expecting to get a luggage cart you are in for a surprise. Be prepared to lug all your belongings up to the room. Also, as soon as you open the glass door to the hallway, be prepared to smell mold. When you enter the room, the smell of mold and cheap cleaning products is pervasive. We brought Lysol and cleaning supplies (as we always do since Covid) as well as a scented candle. None of it worked and the smell was there the entire 3 days. As we were cleaning, we noticed that the sink faucet sprayed inconsistently. I didn't have my tool box with me so I couldn't take off the end to clean out any debris and had to deal with it our whole stay. There is rust and buildup on the shower head, but at least it was spraying fine. Two of the end tables had broken glass and missing drawer handles. One of the shower towel rods was broken. We sent photos to them. The other shower towel holder rods are very cheap so do not pull the towels off with one hand. Hold the rod with one hand and gently remove the towel, otherwise the towel rod will fall off and you will have to spend time jimmying it back on. Also, bring eye masks! The light on the balcony cannot be turned off and stays on all night. It lights the room up even with the curtains closed! The owner told us that sometimes people put a tee shirt over it, but I was not about to risk a fire. If that doesn't keep you up, the beds will. As soon as you lay down, you sink right into it and really have to work hard to move or turn. There are no box springs at all, just a very soft mattress and what seemed like a foam topper (not too sure as I was afraid to look). Also, be careful as the beds will slide on the tile so pay attention when you are sitting on the beds. If I were in my early twenties, I would come back (with a little preparation). Unfortunately, us retirees are looking for way more comfort and ease.

The room is exactly how it's presented in the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. Property is very clean and pretty.

The view is amazing, the room is clean and stocked well with amenities and cute decor.

The bright light on the balcony that you can't shut off and the beach wasn't as taken care of as it was in previous years.
