Location was good. Very nice balcony with the Raven suite. Hot tub.

Could use a coat/hat rack, but now I'm nitpicking.

We loved our weekend stay at Hearts & Wings! The house is a bit out of town, in a wooded area with deer and lots of birds all over. The drive into town is just a few minutes, and getting to local hikes is just a few minutes the other direction. We appreciated how well the house and property are kept up---very clean and well maintained. The host, Azaima, lives onsite and is available but not intrusive. And her sweet and lovable dogs were just icing on the cake. It really was the perfect getaway for us!

The only thing that I would change is that there is no indoor table for either eating or working. It didn't affect us much as we mostly ate out, but the one meal we had at the rental we had to eat on the balcony where there are small tables. Luckily the weather was beautiful so this was a non-issue, but I can see that it would be harder to manage in cold/wet/too hot weather.

"A secure, natural setting just a few minutes outside of the city. More like an Airbnb than a hotel."

Just coffee. The kitchen was wonderful with a private seating area and nature view out windows to see the sunrise.

"It was short and sweet."

Nice views from a cozy room with a library. Blankets were warm and soft. Good brand of coffee (Lavazza).
