Heart and Wings Retreat Center

We loved the outdoor hot tub, scenery, our apartment, the grounds, and the other buildings. We’re grateful for the chocolates, coffee, refrigerator, hot burners, toaster oven, and kettle. We love the owner.

The location is beautiful and peaceful. Deer and rabbits and birds are frequent visitors. The casita I stayed in was clean, beautiful, intuitively designed to meet every need. Great outdoor hot tub, incredible book collection, and a truly peaceful vibe. There is also a special coffee made exclusively for Heart and Wing. It's delicious. even though Heart and Wing feels in the center of nature town is a short trip away. The host is absolutely amazing.

The place was as described. It was quiet and comfortable. The hosts were available when needed. Very relaxing.

the host was very nice but we did not like that several times she tried to sell her services to us. The bedroom also had marketing material and for sale items in it. The bed was comforable and the property clean.

The porch looks out onto a gravel parking lot which is very noisy when people are driving in and out. Our room (which was called a suite) did not have a private bath. We had use of the whole ground floor but the "suites" are just bedrooms with shared common areas. There was also not much scenery (we thought there were going to be nice views based on previous reviews). A lot of chicken wire in the yard. not much landscaping. I am not sure why this place rated so highly. Probably because the host is such a nice person.
