Ocean balmy warm healing breeze on sunny balcony

Perfect spot! Wasn't Loud and disturbing, even the construction outside below the small terrace/Balcony didn't disturb us! The price was great considering.. The Host is a older gentleman trying to keep up with this disrespectful generation. He bought Us a Nice holiday lunch and gave Us an extra night Free 😁 which we were very appreciative. Then brought Dark chocolate 🍫 candy bars when we checked out..

Decor could be updated. . But we wasn't there for that.. the room served the purpose! We didn't pay for a mansion therefore we got what we paid for!!

The location was great, all sorts of places to eat and things to do within walking distance. The beach access was good and it’s on a part of the beach where there are no cars which is nice. The building was quiet while we were there, we were never disturbed by anyone and the beach was always fairly empty as well. The pool was nice, they keep it pretty clean. The room, while not necessarily stylish, was comfortable and felt clean when we arrived.

There were lots of small details that could have been better but weren’t necessarily deal breakers. The bathroom was old and the sink had minimal water pressure. There was construction happening on the road immediately outside of the balcony that you could hear on the beach (although not much in the room). The owner meets you upon arrival (and checkout), which wouldn’t be so bad but he starts telling you how much things cost and how much you’ll have to pay if you break them - felt a bit like he was gloating. The biggest ick we had was that he mentioned if you had food in the room there would be bugs, kind of an unrealistic expectation to not have food in the room. We did as he said and we did not see any bugs, but the possibility of them was always on our mind.

Steps down to the beach, but not a good idea to do it at night. The area is very run down.

I am sure the elderly owner is a nice guy, and I am sure he is doing his best here. Simply put, this property is terrible. Firstly, it is in a massive construction zone. Half of the car park, and the whole of the central section of the building is being remodelled, and is cordoned off with plyboard and fencing. The apartment itself is way past its best. The entrance door is barely secure, with only a deadbolt for security. The furniture looks like it has come from a flea market, and is mismatched, to say the least. The bed frames are held together with duck tape, they squeak and groan with any movement. The balcony is little more than a ledge with a railing. The curtains don't cover the window. The bathroom sink has almost no water flow from the taps. The shower fittings are loose. The towels are so thin they resemble dish rags. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee other makings. There is a new TV which for some reason is still in cellophane packaging and the WiFi was patchy. We had booked for 3 nights left after just one. It just wasn't worth it.

Location, nice pool, plenty of parking, elevator

Everything was excellent when we had any issues he was right there.
