The bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels were clean and nice. The host required me to venmo a $100 security deposit before I got the check in info, which was weird, but she refunded it after I'd checked out, as promised. After I sent the money, she texted clear check in instructions and was responsive on text during business hours for the duration of my stay. The outside of the property is beautiful, with lovely gardens and plenty of parking.

I was really disappointed. This is a big, grand-looking suburban estate from the outside, but inside, everything is as cheap as can be. The bed was comfy and the towels okay, but otherwise, it was a plastic folding table as a "desk," half-used dollar store hand soap and lotion (not even any soap for the shower), and paper thin doors between rooms. My room didn't lock from the outside, which was a bit disconcerting. (Although the adjoining room that shared the locked hallway wasn't rented while I was there, I would have felt really weird if it had been, since anyone with access to that room would have had access to mine.) Worst of all, it was dirty: the carpet was sticky, the walls, door knobs and mirrors were smudged with stains and fingerprints, and the bathroom was superficially cleaned (scum in the crevices, hair in the sink). I was also bummed because it didn't have a couple things booking.com listed and that I'd counted on--a hot tub and a clothes iron. Granted, the fine print on the listing said the hot tub was closed for the winter, but I didn't notice because I'd searched specifically for listings with a hot tub on booking.com and this one had come up. This place has lots of potential, but it doesn't feel like anyone who cares about hospitality or comfort is making decisions or maintaining it.

Very comfortable in a residential community. Room was nice and had all necessary amenities.

The refrigerator was too small. when traveling I use the freezer to Refreeze my ice packs and the freezer was too small to get all of them in.
