Great Location, beautiful sunset/rise. Comfy beds. Nice hot shower.

The toilet fan was incredibly loud, I mean awful loud, it was impossible to use the loo at night without waking everyone. We didn't feel like eating out due to jet lag, not even a tin opener to have soup, zero comfort to eat in, not even a bread knife. The bed bases are about 4 inches larger than the mattress, so you knock your shins all the time, I mean everytime you walk around the bed.The whole place smacks of cheap compromise and lack of care, even the pictures are nailed on wonky. 200 dollar deposit is a joke. I've never had that before, and I use this site a lot. If the bedroom was laid out with the beds where the TV is, you could enjoy sunrise/set from the bed without staring at the door and the cables from the TV would be much easier to hide. It's a bit like the Butlins of Florida. I wouldn't say it's worth the nightly cost, especially in winter. There are better options with better facilities, I wouldn't recommend based on these things. It's OK at best. Sorry @the artfulnook but you need to do better.

The property although not on the beach, overlooks the river. The scenery is stunning and the river is quite beautiful. We saw Dolphins, Manatee's and Pelicans right outside the property. The local restuarants were ample and very pleasant. The beach is a few minutes walk away right by the main restaurant and the views are stunning, The room is clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable.

The bathroom was small as was the kitchen. The washing machine advertised is not in the room itself, but out in the hallway area of the main communial area. It was in high demand. We did not realise that we had to pay a further $200 to get the door code on arrival. This was partly due to the instructions being quite vague both from the owner and Booking.com. Please make this much clearer and give better payment details. We arrived an hour early and had a lovely lunch locally whilst trying to sort out what was expected of us. However, I would not have appreciated the inconvenience had we arrived at night with small children.

No breakfast at this location. But there were many places to go to for breakfast.
