Beautiful Apartment at The Botanical Gardens #1

The location was excellent for me because I wanted to be in or near Alamo Heights, although the exact street is a bit run-down. The apartment was well-appointed and clean and a good size and certainly felt like value for money in terms of the space.

Two things detracted from our stay. One was the lighting, which made the place feel gloomy - especially as the weather was also overcast. The other was the fact that we could hear the people in the apartment above us. There was the constant noise of footfall overhead, including early morning.

I liked that it was a corner air bnb. And that it stayed cold threw the night.

I think the photos need to be updated on the website. I had to use my hotspot for the tv to work. The Wi-Fi isn’t creditable in the unit. Their where roaches here and their, I also found a random bug In the bed. & they need new pillows and sheets. Their are a lot of things that need to be updated in the unit.

Many areas are not in good condition, cracks on the kitchen counter, broken cupboard below toilet sink etc etc, I sent list and have pictures.

We want to connect to in-room Wi-Fi but cannot find the passcode. We have to contact the staff and it takes some time to get the response. Suggest the owner put a small paper / sticker with it next time.
