We are not louder, but I didn't like that we could not go outside to enjoy the night to talk

I loved the location, decor and price. The bed and couch were very comfortable. There were also unexpected and convenient features like two beach chairs and a soft-sided ice chest that could be taken to the beach.

An additional towel rack in the bathroom would have been nice. We had to dry some things out on the patio furniture. The bicycle kick stands were rusted and difficult to use, though this was a minor problem, and I understand that the ocean air makes it extremely difficult to keep metal in good shape. There were also no designated parking spaces, and we had to parallel park along Balboa Ave, though there is nothing the host can do about this, and it's certainly not a deal-breaker for me.

How close it was to services. How close it was to the beach and the bay. The outdoor patio. The illuminated welcome sign.

I'm use to soap. Had to go to CVS for supplies. The bikes were very dirty, and rusty. Auto noise was unavoidable because it's so close to the street.

Well equipped everything (super bed, kitchen, outside). Tacking tours with the included bikes. And pretty quiet neighborhood.

The TV sound is snarring and unfortunately it was already booked when we wanted to come back ;-)

Easy to find from the airport and our host made arrangements for our arrival to make it easier to enter the property after midnight. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen for cooking meals and Sprouts is within 5min of the cottage. We loved the clean and fresh bathroom tub, just right sized for two people to soak in. Even though we never met our host we felt like they were immediately accessible if there was a need and check out was a breeze and felt very personable just like check-in.
