"Settles Cottage Apartment- Unit 2"

Location was great, close to Kingswood College. Easy to find the place.

The apartments are on the corner of a main road leading to Kingswood College, so even though Grahamstown do not have a lot of traffic, was quite noisy with cars racing past late on Saturday evening. We stayed in Unit 2 which bedroom window faces the road.

"COMFORTABLE SPACIOUS GARDEN SELF CATERING UNIT WITH MOBILE BRAAI"

Really a lovely place to stay at - so close to Kingswood which was convenient. Loved the garden which had a mobile braai, the unit size was awesome and very spacious. The bed was super comfy with great pillows/linen and TV with DSTV bouquet for some down time between sport games. For parents traveling to support at the various schools - definitely a great place as there are 3 units on the property which could be booked out by a parent group that travels together.

The bath towels could do with a replacement (the one had a hole in it), the aircon wasnt working correctly showed a fault and lastly the driveway doesnt cater for 2 x (bigger) cars. If there are guests booked into Unit 3 - makes for a tricky parking situation.

Inside venue not bad, some paint off in main bedroom, staff good.

Smokers in a non smoker area on wednesday. Party next door after 8. Stompies in flower pots and braai on arriving. Parking under cover taken by next door and no private parking. Contraveined all these which were on booking com as a write up for the venue.
