Orca House

The location and view was exceptional. There was safe parking on site and the hosts and staff were friendly. The unit was spacious with all the necessary utensils for self catering. Good coffee machine.

The unit had a stale smell (something between mouldy, dusty carpet and previous smoking guests). The bed needs an upgrade. The bed in any accommodation is where the rubber hits the road for any weary traveller. No view can compensate for an uncomfortable bed.

The setting was fabulous with views to die for along the beach, which you had easy access to from your room along a boardwalk. We were able to watch the sunset from the chairs on the dune and have wine on our stoep as it got dark. There is plenty of space in the unit with a comfortable lounge area, and a big table in the modern kitchenette area with a good sized fridge / freezer. Great if you are spending a few days there. A good size bedroom and a big modern bathroom. A friendly host who took time to show us around and spent time talking to us, both when we arrived and when we left. We felt very welcome ,although we arrived later than we intended. Secure off road parking is available. Easy to get to the West Coast National Park.

We couldn't find anything to complain about, but access is sloping if you have mobility problems.

Beautiful home right on the beach perfect location. Could not have asked for more.

The host was really kind and pleasant, and the premises was great with a dehumidifier and heater. Dehumidifier are vital to have in these conditions. A great touch was the coffee machine already filled with beans. The property is right on the beach with easy access.
