Designer Downtown Condo Suite - Splendid View

The size, location and facilities of the apartment are superb. It is downtown with a free shuttle in each direction to the main downtown sights (Capitol one way and sculpture park the other). Despite being downtown it comes with free parking in an adjacent garage. It has great table + breakfast bar space and many excellent small touches like a bathroom night light and a kettle, both of which may sound routine, but this was the only apartment of the four we stayed in during our tour which had these. Shower excellent (hand-held as well as rain), air-con good and kitchen well stocked, though could do with 4+ plates, bowls & mugs instead of 3.

Although there is ample hanging space, there are no drawers (except in the kitchen) so nowhere to store other clothes. There are wire shelves for other stuff, but these were mostly occupied (with spare kitchen rolls, etc). The apartment would benefit from a chest of drawers in the big cupboard (there is room on the right under the shelf) and from half of the shelves being left clear for guests. The biggest drawback was that the apartment had not been cleaned properly, but we understand that on this occasion the owners had had to clean it themselves (they refunded us the cleaning charge). We presume the normal cleaners would not miss the microwave (important as food remnants there are a fire risk) and would sweep into the corners, though the dust on the bathroom glass shelves and the extent of fluff in the washing machine lint drawer suggested that even previous cleans could have been better.

Great location, a well-appointed property, clean and very quiet. It's an interesting historic building that has kept select items in common areas from its past as a hotel. Great hotel alternative for business or personal visits.

We couldn’t find the parking garage, but Kyle answered my call right away and explained how to find it. Maybe in the listing you could describe it as the brown doors across the street from Fong’s. We got confused with the parking ramp on the other side of the block. No other issues. Kyle was very responsive.

Beautifully decorated apartment. Bed and linens extremely comfortable. Great wi-fi. Could see State Fair fireworks from our window.

There were several cleanliness/supply issues that were addressed to the owner as requested. The parking garage was rather sketchy, either walk down a one lane ramp or a steep circular staircase. I would not recommend this accommodation to senior citizens.

Location was excellent, very clean

Although it was nice to have safe parking, it was kind of inconvenient with the key FOB trying to get in and out of the parking space and in and out of the building with all of the codes, I understand it is very secure, however. Next time I would just park in the Parkade behind the building

Amazing location right down town - near restaurants, the civic center, and farmers market. Super clean, extremely comfortable place to stay. Very comfortable couch with a great TV (wall screen!), and super comfortable bed with soft sheets. Kitchen had all the needed aspects such as coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes for cooking, etc. had a parking spot in the garage right next door so we had off street parking which was a huge bonus. Communication from the hosts before and after was top notch! Would love to stay there again!

The location was excellent! Very easy to find, lots of restaurants and activities within walking distance. The architecture of the historical building is incredible and the unit itself is beautiful. Everything we needed was there and the instructions for everything were easy to understand and appreciated.
