Table Mountain views, modern,lots of natural light, with parking

Great communication, effortless picking up the keys in the lockbox provided. I felt it was great value for money, the rooms were wonderfully furnished and the style was clean and sophisticated. I enjoyed the options of lighting in the lounge, and bedrooms - which gave a sense of calm if you wanted a gentle side lamp rather than intense ceiling lighting. Incredible location and comfortable walkable town experience - to Checkers, the beautiful De Waal park, or ample restaurants around the Kloof Street strip.

The white entrance gate of the building (not the access gate) is incredibly loud when let to slam. This reverberates through the apartment at all hours - it's not a host specific issue - but worth bringing up with the body corporate as I'm sure it affects others. My suggestion to the host is to perhaps change the lighting in the bathroom - the harsh white light can be intense at night. Otherwise the lighting options really stood out to me, if you wanted softer lighting in the lounge/bedrooms there are options.

The apartment is great, with large rooms and excellent views. As it is self-catering, we appreciated the dishwasher and washing machine. There were a few details which was greatly appreciated, like the coffee and tea, washing powder and dishwasher tablets, which really made the stay easy. The owners responded quickly to all my questions and were very friendly.

The parking is a little tricky, especially if you have a big vehicle. There is off-street parking, but it isn't behind a secure gate, and the roads are very narrow. So if people are parking in the street, you will struggle to park in the designated parking space.

Ameisen im Kühlschrank und in der Küche, Toiletten-Sitz kaputt. Der Vermieter hat uns 3 Stunden vor Check In mitgeteilt, dass es derzeit ein Ameisenproblem gibt und im Laufe der Woche jemand kommt, um das Problem zu lösen. Wir waren bei Ankunft schon 24 Stunden unterwegs und zu kaputt, so kurzfristig eine neue Unterkunft zu suchen. Die Küche wollten wir wegen der Ameisen nicht benutzen. Beim Check out, haben wir um eine Teilerstattung gebeten, dieser hat der Vermieter zugestimmt und sich nochmal wegen der Ameisen entschuldigt. Doch plötzlich hat er dann behauptet, wir hätten eine Auflaufform in der Küche kaputt gemacht (diese haben wir nicht mal gesehen/angefasst). Beim Check out stand dann die Pest-Control bereits vor dem Haus, hat uns leider nichts mehr genutzt. Bis heute haben wir keine Erstattung erhalten.

The location is very central. The apartment is modern and very nice. Would definitely stay there again.
