Check in was really easy fetching the keys from security. The place was 4 min drive to the mall in Canal Walk. There are lifts to take baggage to the second floor. Immaculately clean place. The apartment has all cleaning detergents and facilities for washing etc even though I didn't need to use it. The place had wifi which was really good for me to work online.

This place is self catering so guests are supposed to bring along stuff. I really wished that some body wash/soap was available. Perhaps add on R50 to make provision for teas and coffee within limits. I travelled solo and would have liked a cuppa. The owner should invest in an aircon for hot days. It cooled down while I stayed there so I managed. The bedroom has a tendency to warm up.

Very good location, an apartment complex with security and parking. The washing machine was perfect and I could use it (you just need to bring your own laundry detergent). The wifi is great and there is a shower and bath. There is also an iron and iron board. Host was very helpful when I contacted him about the few issues that were there.

I requested no feather pillows or duvets but there was a feather duvet (I did contact the host but he couldn’t help much about it and then informed me the next day that they only had feather duvets) so I had to buy my own duvet to sleep under. Also there was only one mug but we are two people so had to drink coffee out of tea cups. Upon request I received more mugs. There is no sugar (although the sugar pot seemed to have contained sugar previously), no coffee, milk or tea. Cutlery is plenty but there were only two teaspoons in a big dirty drawer. There were also potatoes and onions in a cupboard from a previous guest and when I asked about it they only came to clean it. For a self catering the kitchen lacks a lot of appliances and dinnerware.

Probably scam. We booked and paid by card. After a few hours they sent me a message and told they couldn’t receive us due to “power outage” and asked us to cancel. I wrote them that they should cancel and they answered that they had done so, and then I would get the amount paid back. So I cancelled but they had not cancelled. And my amount was gone. After contacts with Booking customer service all was ok.

Not much. However, he did bring a hairdryer and clothes dryer at my request. However you can't put it on the balcony.

The pool and jacuzzi isn't private, the complex residents share it. They need to check the place after every guest leaves for breakages, as the bedroom blinds were broken. The cups are disgusting, we used our own. There is no toaster. No hand towel or soap to wash your hands. No toiletries. Not very comfy.
