Ground Floor Apartment Midrand

Well resourced place. Especially the aircon made it very comfortable.

DSTV did not work even after trying to connect. Also, there was dust/some soil and women hair particles in the drawers when I arrived.

Everything! I was greeted by a cockroaches and I couldn’t look at anything else thereafter! I had had an 8 hours drive and extremely tired. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t take out my food, I felt disgusted staying there, it felt dirty and to top it off, not even a single roll of toilet paper add noise to that and you have the perfect disaster! Worst stay ever and host was rude and arrogant, refused me my refund after the nightmare!

Place is amazing. Beautiful home, well decorated not cluttered.

I wish host would give you the lockbox code pre hand. Her phone wasn't always reachable. Had to go to security to get hold of her. Sliding door wasn't opening with the keys provided.

- How the owner was prompt in responding to queries,even at night she was a text away - Cosy apartment with a home feel

- Security access; when my transport had to pick me up they had to call the owner to verify access every single time

I loved everything about the place, it is exactly as seen in pictures. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable the shower worked perfectly I'd definitely book there again.

Nothing, but I think they should change the name on booking.com, when you book the name says "ground floor apartments" but when you get there the guards will tell you they don't know that place cos the place is actually called "West End Apartments"

Furniture is good except for the couch and cushions, more especially the mustard one it’s very dirty such that I could not use the couch. There is a backup for the lights during load shedding

There are no hangers in the closets. The closets are stinky such that the bedroom sometimes smells like the stinky smell from the closets. There are no side lamps or at least plugs next to the bed. The misleading information about the bedding in the pictures in booking.com. The main reason for me to book in this property was the white bedding in the pictures but when I got to the apartment I found dark grey bedding and a very dirty dusty blanket such that I had to take sinus medication the whole time I was there because I used the blanket as it was cold . I could not look for another place to stay as I had paid for the four days and I knew it would be difficult for me to get a refund and by the time I booked in this property I had already moved from two different apartments due to lack of availability but first one I left because bed was very uncomfortable.

Everything we needed was there we were home away from home

The place is peaceful and secured. Felt like home. It was clean, all the necessities were there... We had a great time with my partner. We would definitely do it again.
