"Peebles Cottage"

Clarens is beautiful, and the Cottage is close to town, trails and have a beautiful view

The Cottage is too small for 4 people, there is no privacy except for the bathroom and we had no place to sit and eat inside, ended up sitting on the bed There was still no Wi-Fi coverage for us after several attempts and the barbeque (braai) is small and balances on a potjiekospot as it has no feet The water in the bath keeps running out as the bathplug is leaking

"Cozy and Charming Cottage"

A lovely escape to a town straight out of a Hallmark movie — Clarens charmed with its cozy streets and glowing autumn trees. The whole place felt like a warm hug. Staying at the Peebles cottage made it even more magical — peaceful, pretty, and the perfect retreat. Pure autumn bliss.

What an exceptional place to stay. Comfortable,cosy and excellent location. We really had a great stay and our host was so friendly and caring to our needs. Will definitely visit again.

"Not what was expected"

Situation was lovely. Grounds were lovely.

The kitchenette does NOT lend to self catering. There are no actual bedrooms. The loft is NOT suitable for children or elderly. The ships ladder is far too dangerous for either. There is no suitable seating inside to sit and read or watch a movie (provided with the DVD player). For a couple alone this may be suitable but not really for more people.
