The apartment was very clean and beautiful

The host was easy to get in touch with and when the apartment had no water, she bought and sent it to the apartment which we appreciated. She also moved us to a new unit which did have water. Both units we stayed at (not the unit in the picture) were clean and in order.

First off the property we booked (the one in the pictures) was not the one we stayed at. This unit was double booked so I was moved to another unit about 15-20 minutes away. I was already on the way to JHB so I agreed to another unit as I didn't have time to now look and rebook somewhere else. The new unit (Ascari Estate) was satisfactory and we were happy with it unfortunately there was no water in the entire area. Firstly, water issues are common in the area and the host should have confirmed the unit had water before moving us there. This is apparent due to the extra water kept in bottles and by asking around. So anyway, I asked to be moved to another unit the next day and we were moved to Jackals Creek in Honeydew which is another 20-25 minutes away. This unit was very very small. All in all, it wasn't close to what we booked neither what we paid for. When we arrived at the unit it was still being cleaned at around 2.30pm, this was fine with us as I presumed it was normal (earlier on we were told that the Ascari unit was still being cleaned when we wanted to check in). However, on our check out day, cleaner came in at 10am sharp and began cleaning despite us still packing our items. For all the inconvenience caused this was uncalled for. The cleaner could have waited for 15 minutes extra outside instead of insisting to start cleaning whilst we were changing.

Well... I think the owners of this place must check themselves in for a night or so and review the following. The kitchen dustbin lid is broken, there are no breakfasts plates to have your cerial in, The bath leaks between the bath and the toilet on the floor, the door handle in the spare bedroom cupboard is off, the down lights in the main bedroom DOES NOT WORK, the shower and bedroom lights are all on one switch, this is not clever. Why would you not have bead side lights next to your bed? When we checked in at 14h10 the lady cleaing was still busy so we had to wait another 20 mins for her to finish. This should have been done waybefore 14h00. At night because the complext in right next to a squatter camp the smoke from the squatter camp when you get out of your car is horrendous to say the least. They will never see me again.
