The Terrace Guest House

We liked how clean and cozy the place was. The space was ample for my kids and myself.

The property was so clean and the lighting system was just so perfect.

The location was perfect and the property was easily accessible.

It's on a main road opposite a garage which was a bit noisy at times.

Jackie was super friendly and accommodating, the property was easy to find and very close to where we wanted to be, which was perfect. Every effort was made to make our stay comfortable. We were travelling with small kids, so I really appreciated that there weren't any small decorations that were in reach of our children.

The place is welcoming and comfortable. The hosts are kind and professional. My husband and I are very happy about our stay. The kids enjoyed it too. Thank you to the family for allowing us into their space. My wish for them is to expand their business as I believe they are great at hospitality. If you are an investor and are looking to venture into the hospitality business and looking for someone who is passionate about it, kindly get in touch with this family.

This was not a pleasant experience

Poor attitude of the Host. The place felt dark and cold, uninviting This property is advertised as a 2 bedroomed apartment with a pvt pool,in fact only one room is available, while the other is locked, the pool is on the property of the host and thus actually a shared facility. There is no privacy as there is one entrance which opens onto the driveway facing the street. No other means of natural light. No alternate to loadshedding, no available wifi. I spent the night due to bookings .com was suddenly not able to process a request to change or to refund, and consistently showed error. Upon leaving and explaining to the host the misleading nature of her advertising, the host explained that although the place is advertised as a 2 bedroomed apartment with a pvt pool, that if that's what I was looking for then I should rather book at a lodge. Needless to say the fee was not refunded.

the location was close to shops n shopping malls

Booked as guests but were not allowed to use the swimming pool for two nieces yet we were the only guests there. Owner was not as open and friendly as we hoped and the pictures of the shower versus reality were completely different.
