It was a bit of information overload. Every message came through twice on email and via 2 different WhatsApp’s which just became a lot.

Location for our needs. Ease of access. Back up lightning during a power cut was a nice touch.

No face to face interaction with our host. We also had to help someone else leave an adjoining property because the owner didn't come out to help. Poorly equipped kitchen for anything other than a one night stay:- Two tea bags and 4 coffee sachets; no milk! Two knives, forks, spoons, plates etc. meaning washing up after every meal. No bottled water available or any indication if the brown tinged tap water was potable. One sealed and one half eaten rusk as a welcome pack... Don't think about having a braai. It's not possible with the equipment available. We specifically booked a place with a washing machine but, despite notices saying differently, there were no washing tablets when we arrived. After making a request these were delivered 3 days later. There was no outdoor hanging area for wet clothes. The housekeeper does all the washing in the unit, even if you are there at the time. The area outside the front door is very poor. We struggled to open and close the gate to the 'courtyard' as the frame and decking board surround is poorly constructed. The very small courtyard itself is very poor with a small table and plastic chairs situated on a couple of concrete wall panels. A mixture of gravel and building debris is not very pleasant to sit or walk on. The doors to the bathroom are badly constructed and no door on the shower is very odd given its orientation. No Aircon and a tiny USB fan made sleeping uncomfortable. The USB ports in the sockets didn't work and despite reporting this they were not fixed during our stay. Not everybody likes dogs. Being barked at whilst in the bathroom or the courtyard is not enjoyable.

Would prefer normal TV viewing Only Netflix

The apartment is so modern and spacious. The area is very peaceful The place is very neat and tidy We did not experience loadshedding at all, that was a plus 🙈
