The Greenery

Had gem for life. Really enjoyed my stay, a perfect recharge and over all solo getaway. Will definitely be returning. Will be making a habit to visit at least once a year. Irene is the sweetest person and so welcoming. Already missing the place. Very private, safe, quiet and clean. Perfect calm for a busy city girl. Had a daily visit from a Robin bird, he was so calm watched me as I was painting.. You can't go wrong at The Greenery 🪴

Kitchen hot water pressure is quite low. But that is such a minor thing. Everything else was superb.

It is a beautiful and cosy apartment with everything we needed. The location is a stone throw way from Port Owen and right near the river. Irene was so friendly and helpful on the property and we really enjoyed our stay! Perfect get away from the city.

The bathroom was exceptionally small, the toilet had to be flushed at least 4 times before everything went down, the bathroom cleanliness was not the best. Amenities were ok, but the power went off quite a few times which was annoying because the tv took forever to power on in-between. The bath is also so tiny that you cannot feel clean after using it, you can barely move - a shower would be a much better addition. Overall our stay was passable for literally just going there to sleep.

We loved the warm welcome from Marlene who gave us the key and her friendliness. She answered all our questions and told us of places to go and eat out at. She is a rare find in this industry.

Not that we did not like it, as our son is an electrician who could sort out the problem with the small plate on the stove that kicked out the electricity.
