The farmland and lovely gardens

The house was beautifully located and looked out onto the vineyards. There was a swing outside which we loved and a huge tree full of grey herons behind the house, which our bird-loving son absolutely adored. The two bedrooms were comfy and warm, and each had their own bathroom. The lounge/ dinner area was huge. The kitchen had everything we needed, including some tea and coffee for us to use.

Due to the particularly cold winter this year, the bathrooms as well as the lounge were very cold. It would have been great if the lounge had had some kind of heating.

Freshly baked bread upon our arrival was a lovely and welcomed surprise.

The accommodation was spacious and neat. The host welcomed us with freshly baked bread, butter, and jam. There was also a bottle of estate wine in the fridge 😁 Gorgeous views and a tranquil setting. We will be back, but will definitely book the unit with the balcony next time.

The front door rattled a lot with the windy weather - could not secure it properly. Otherwise, there was nothing else to complain about.
