1-bedroom apartment with secure basement parking

Everything that's working well, it felt like home away from home. Very close to a lot of facilities, including Stellenbosch University. The host was super kind. Would definitely book again.

The couch in the living room. It's a bit hard to sleep on. The lack of a shower curtain in the shower, water scatters all over the bathroom when showering.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Unit Not Up to Standard I’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay. The problems began even before my arrival. After my booking was confirmed and payment made, I received a message stating that the booking was cancelled due to someone else still occupying the unit. Thankfully, the new manager eventually resolved the issue and confirmed my booking again. On arrival, I was met by Liesl, who was friendly and accommodating. Check-in was smooth and to my satisfaction. However, the condition of the unit was completely unacceptable. It was immediately evident that someone had been living in the unit for an extended period. The space was extremely dirty: The curtains clearly had not been cleaned in months. One of the chairs had long-standing stains. The floors were so dirty I couldn’t walk barefoot without my feet becoming visibly dusty. The bathroom mirror had a large, permanent stain, making it unusable. The gas stove did not work properly and could only be lit manually with a lighter. The safety gate had issues with locking and unlocking, posing a security concern. Overall, the unit is not maintained to a standard that is acceptable for paying guests. I would strongly recommend that the property be temporarily closed and undergo a full revamp — including deep cleaning, repairs, and a fresh coat of paint. Skirtings and door frames are in desperate need of attention, as are the general furnishings. This experience has unfortunately caused me to question whether I’ll continue using Booking.com, as this is not the first time I’ve encountered a substandard property. I will not be returning to this particular unit and hope this feedback prompts meaningful improvements.

The apartment is very beautiful.

The extra bedding and the cushions on sofa was dirty. The bath mats was very dirty. There was ñ dirty pot. The duvet had a stain but besides that it was also dirty.

Well equipment apartment, but the furniture, curtains, bedding, and floor mats were not clean (stained). These items may have to be replaced with new fresh items. It was not easy to find as no building name or address was given, a street location only. Maybe update the unit description building name and include street address details.

It was very easily accessible and had everything we needed for our stay.

The flat was not very clean. The bedding had dirty marks and the bathroom mats were definitely not washed prior to our arrival. Most of the pots and pans and furniture were covered with a layer of dust. The pot-plants are also in need of some tlc. They were bone dry and some are busy dying. The television were also not working as stated on the booking amenities.

Comfortable apartment with friendly neighbours

The location is a little far from town centre so lots of taxis back and forth. Also, very intense lighting in the bedroom!
