Blue Whale

No electricity, old bath towels,we were accused of leaving with the bath towels and they paid half of the R1000 deposit we paid because of the bath towel we don't know off. The cleaners were rude.

being not responded to by host. Waiting at the gate for 1h25..she asked what time we were to arrive ,she should have given us the code then than to not answer our attempts to reach her. Toilet has no light

The location was perfect, and the apartment was spacious.

Unfortunately, it was not very clean. We found greasy cultery and pots - braai tongs with mould and dirty burnt cooking gloves. The white mugs were old and black inside. The cupboards and bedding did not have a fresh smell - i had to purchase airfresheners to make it better. There was no electricity in most of Margate, from the 2nd day - no fault of the host, but little was done to make our stay better thereafter. No offer was made for battery lights. There was no gas in for the grill (as advertised). When I enquired about the gas , I was told that there is a communal coal braai that could be used. Seriously- there's no lights, and the solution is a communal coal braai!!!! The facility has an ironing board, but no iron. I had to purchase my own iron and battery-operated lights to ensure the safety and comfort of my children. Overall, the stay cost me even more - on top of what I paid for the 3 nights. I'm really disappointed!!

Outside atmosphere & nearby areas was quite good, as well as shopping malls.

Mattress/Sponge in the lounge was a bit uncomfortable for an 8 person booking.
