Eden wilds J124

I am a little disappointed with the state of the rooms. It was stuffy as if it was closed for days, walking in the kitchen to an awful smell. Woke up to maggots in the kitchen floor right up to lounge. Had to mop up the floors and empty the bin.

The Unit we stayed at was very nice, clean and also comfortable. The dam was also very nice with the birds also being there made it very nice for the children. We enjoyed the swimming pool.

There was a bad smell every now and then.

Location - away rom the city noise Close to activities eg Wild Coast, Mac Banana, Boat rides, Beaches

- Whoever who is cleaning, is not doing it properly. The kitchen cabinets were dusty so we had to clean first each utensil we had to use. - No mop and brooms - We stayed for a week and no one came to clean. At least you should have told us before hand. -The couch was extremely dirty, lamps were dusty - The whole apartment had a funny smell - We ended up not using the other bedroom because of moisture - No one answers the cellphone number provided

Had to look around on our own on a cold night to find the room on a cold night, the driveway to the room was bad for our car. Views stated shown when selecting the apartment were not on the building we were put in. There was no mop..

Unit was clean and tidy

Unit didn't have basic cutlery and utensils, eg. Not a single tumbler plastic or glass, no toaster, grater and we were in the dark during load shedding not even a recharge light. No tray in oven to grill.

No drinking glasses, fan in second room broken, no tongs to braai, no toilet paper in toilets, curtains broken and don’t close properly, chair in main room broken, single couch sounds like it’s breaking as it creaks when you sit, batteries in remotes running flat, one towel for a family of 4.

Everything this was the second time we booked eden wilds j124 and we have decided to make it our vacation home we are definitely coming back again next year.

Nothing

The environment and location was peaceful and beautiful. The surroundings, the nature reserve, the river and fishing spot was excellent. It's what we enjoyed the most. The serene environment with the wooded area and the lake in the centre with the birds and the geese created a relaxing and inviting space.

The apartment is beautifully styled. However, the iron wasn't in working order, the ironing board was broken. There were ants and cockroaches in the cupboards. We were unable to use the master bedroom cos the sliding mirror cupboards weren't accessible and the ensuite had a musty smell. The curtains didn't close properly and we had to improvise and use pegs. We had no wifi as listed on Booking.com. The owners cellphone was listed on Booking.com but the owner refused to communicate with us. At least if we were able communicate with someone our stay could have been much better. Furthermore, there weren't any good glass tumblers we could use. The apartment is cluttered with old ornaments which occupies good space.
