Man and Dog Log Cabin

It was good, spacious and good for families. The staff was excellent very helpful and respectful. Whatever we needed the response from was grate.

The size of the apartment and location

The water from the tap tasted a bit strange and the pressure was too low . Mosquitos we all over the room and we had no defence against that .

The cabin was nice and spacious. Well decorated.

I thought that perhaps this cabin was used for the first time. However, considering there are reviews for it. I am not sure, I was quite disappointed. It does not have a view of the swimming pool as indicated on the site. Within the first 10 min of arriving, we were warned by the staff not to drink the tap water. They did, however, supply us with a 10 liter of bottled water, though. There were no pots or pans initially. There were no fans or an aircon, and we were in the middle of a heatwave. Airconis are not required, but at least a fan would have provided comfort (we requested these items, and thankfully ,they got some for us). No nightstands or pedestals were available in the bedroom. So you could not put things like your specs or a glass of water close to you. No bathroom cleaning supplies. The toilet seat was broken. Items as basic as a toilet brush or a soap dish or a shower caddy are not available. No towel rails. Absolutely no wifi available. The swimming pool was not cleaned and was brimming with green algea and thus could not be used. Considering that this is in the middle of our summer season and in the middle of a heat wave. This was extremely disappointing. Especially since my specific search was for a swimming pool. The water supply was also off frequently. There were no emergency lights supplied, and it was loadshedding stage 6 during that time. We were issued a 3 bedroom cabin, and the other 2 rooms were locked, so we could not choose the room that would work for our comfort. We woke up one morning to people in the garage. The employees came into the gate and into the garage to pack furniture in there without asking or notifying us accordingly. We could not use the shower as the water suddenly stopped. The towels are kept on a box in front of the bedroom door. This seemed a bit strange to me as the bathroom was down the hall. There are no basics in this place as you would find in other accommodation.

I love the privacy and their friendly staff, and i will come back soon.

Waiting for keys was not nice.
